Texans of Mexican descent is the Tejano. Juan Sequin and his militia initially ran Santa Anna's army out of Texas and when Santa Anna's army returned with Santa Anna leading the army, Juan served as a courier and soldier at the Alamo who with Sam Houston lead the charge in the defeat of Santa Anna's Mexican army at the Battle of San Jacinto. Gregorio Esparza died at the Alamo fighting against the dictator Santa Anna. Tejanos fought in WWII as members of the First Cavalry Division of Fort Hood Texas. Many oppose illegal immigration from Mexico as a threat to their family businesses in Texas, oppose centralized government and support government of the people, by the people, for the people.

Pictured above are Tejanos Eva Longoria, Selena Perez, Sophia Vergara, Robert Rodriquez, Juan Sequin.

Sunday Afternoon Around Stephenville, Tx.

Driving past the huge cattle ranches along 67 or 281 when you are down around Stephenville, you can't miss the fact that just about every ranch has an arena where the cowboys play. In this picture, at the Mike Young's ranch, on Sunday afternoons you can ride bulls as many times as you want for only $5.

Texas Governor Rick Perry Stands Tall, Guns Down MSM

Rick Perry last week in Iowa came fully into the fold that abortion is wrong no matter what. He continues to move in the right direction as he wisely adopts more and more those values important to many of us. This shows his growing maturity as a moral leader.

Here he takes on MSM doing what they do best, spread lies. He asks a reporter at least a half dozen times for the source of a smear report. The reporter did not provide a source. This is a leader that Texas has believed in for 12 years. One who continues to grow and who always has his people's best interest at heart or who learns what is important to people. Not a leader who is hopelessly entrenched in bad, destructive policy such as Obama.
